Founded in 1991, M-Tech Diagnostics initially established business with pharmaceutical and beverage manufacturers supplying a range of industry standard filtration equipment and media for use R & D, Quality Control, production and environmental monitoring.
Additional products for food pathogen testing and hygiene monitoring have been added to this core business to provide a comprehensive, co-ordinated range of products which address the tasks facing Industry, Environmental and Public health laboratories.

A variety of dip slides, filter paper, extraction thimbles, membrane filters (Nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, Nylon, PTFE and hydrophilic PTFE); filter holders (Polysulphone, glass and stainless steel), manifolds are available for water testing applications. ( Process water, Potable, swimming/spa pool or sea bathing samples).
Single-use, pre-sterilised, 37mm. 47mm.and 56mm. filter monitors providean immediate answer to filtration requirements. Used to complement conventional laboratory filtration tests at times of peak demand they can also be used in the field without the need for laboratory facilities. Nutrient media for bacteria, yeasts and moulds are available in either pre-prepared ampoule or dehydrated pad format ready for use.
M-Tech also supply a comprehensive range of biological and chemical indicators manufactured by Raven Biological Laboratories Inc. Products are available for use with steam, dry heat, ethylene oxide, hydrogen peroxide and gamma irradiation. For porous load systems the Pro Spore 2 Self-contained B.I.'s are validated for use with a 24 hour incubation cycle thus significantly reducing the time required for autoclave validation.
In many cases bacterial enumeration and identification can now be accomplished using CHROMagar TM chromogenic media Manufactured in France under the direction of Dr.Alain Rambach CHROMagarTM media provide clear, colourful, easily differentiated results for enumeration of E.coli; E.coli/total coliform, E.coli/E.coli0157:H7, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicansand Pseudomonas spp.
For environmental monitoring and sample collection the Whirl-Pak® range of sample bags, swabs and sampling sponges provide a convenient way to handle solid, liquid and surface samples. Sludge/water core samplers and a wide range of sampling devices are available to assist with collection of liquid and solid samples.
