Chemical Indicators
M-Tech provides a wide range of chemical integrators and process indicators in a variety of different formats manufactured by Raven Biological Laboratories in the United States.
Integrators
Chemical integrators are placed within a pack or pouch to verify sterilization conditions have been met at point of placement. The integrator completes a colour change after sufficient exposure to critical parameters. The colour change is designed not to complete until the integrator has been exposed to conditions equivalent to kill a biological indicator.
Process Indicators
Process indicators are intended to be placed on the outside of a pack or pouch to distinguish processed from unprocessed items. The chemical indicator changes colour when exposed to sterilising conditions.
Air Removal (Bowie-Dick Type) Tests
Air removal tests are used to evaluate the performance of the air removal (vacuum) system of pre-vacuum equipped steam sterilisers.
