Spore Suspensions
Suspensions of spore-forming organisms
Raven manufactures suspensions of various spore-forming organisms for use in sterility testing of finished medical devices, parenteral drug packages, or closure systems.
Specifications: Suspensions packaged as 10ml in a glass, stoppered and crimp-sealed vial. Spores are typically suspended in a 40% ETOH solution. ETOH is not compatible with every device material, so suspensions in water are also available by special request. Populations of 103 through to 108 per 0.1ml are available.

- B.atrophaeus ATCC# 9372, 6633
- B.pumilus ATCC# 27142
Other available species: B.cereus, B.megaterium, B.thuringiensis, B.sphaericus, C.sporogenes or an environmental isolate recovered from your facility.
